For customers new to online ordering we have tried to make your shopping
experience as easy as possible by taking you through the order process step by
step. Shopping on line is very much like shopping in a Supermarket, you choose
items to purchase and place them in a "Shopping Cart". Our site is continually
available so that you can place an order 24/7.
Step 1
Browse the different categories to find items you would like to purchase
and/or enter a word in the “Search” box. All items containing that word will
display on the screen. If you can’t see what you hoped for, try another search
word or check to make sure that you have typed the word correctly. If you prefer,
you can also select the name of a particular manufacturer from the drop down list
on the left hand side. A list of products available from that manufacturer only
will then be displayed for you. You can enlarge an item or view more detailed
information by clicking on the product image.
Step 2
Click the "Buy Now" button and the item will be placed into your "Shopping Cart"
you then have the choice to either "Continue Shopping" or "Checkout". If you
change your mind about an item you have already placed into your "Shopping Cart"
this can easily be deleted by clicking the "Delete" button or you can amend the
quantity you require of an item by entering the number in the quantity box and
then clicking the "Update" button.
Step 3
When you have finished selecting your purchases, click the "Checkout" button.
If you have already setup an account with us, you will be prompted for your Log
in information. If this is the first time you have made a purchase from Craft
Obsessions, you will be prompted to "create an account" by entering a few
essential details. Setting up an account is entirely free of charge and is
designed to speed up your shopping experience the next time you visit us. (Please
refer to our Privacy policy). Subscribing to our newsletter is optional, however
from time to time we run promotions and offer special discounts to our customers
and this is the way we would normally notify you of these. Once your account as
been set up, you can Subscribe or Unsubscribe at any time.
Step 4
You are now taken to a "Delivery Information" page. Postage details are
displayed and you can note down an alternative delivery address, this is ideal
if you would like the order sent to someone as a special gift.
Step 5
The next page is the “Payment Information” page. If you have a valid
Promotional code, please enter it at this stage. We accept all of the major
Credit/Debit Cards, payment by Cheque, or if you prefer you can telephone us
directly with your payment details.
For Credit/Debit card payments through our site, we use a payment processing
company called Protx. This provides a secure, encrypted gateway and enables our
customers to purchase products online in the knowledge that their credit card
details are secure. When you input your credit card information, you will
actually be entering this directly onto the Protx server. Your card information
is not seen, recorded by or made available to us in any way. Protx has been
audited and approved by all of the major UK acquiring banks which require Protx
to adhere to all APACS standards.
You will be sent an email confirming all of the details of your order.
International customers please note that we can only accept Credit/Debit card payment for your order.
Step 6
Sit back and relax! Your order will be despatched within 24 hours. If you have opted to pay by Cheque then the order will be despatched once the cheque has cleared.
